Templo Mayor archeological site, recently found remains of Tenochtitlan, the Aztec capital, thought completely destroyed by the spanish (they used the stones to make the National palace etc). Some remains have been found just off the cities main Zocalo. The buildings above were knocked down to allow excavation.
