We visited disneys hollywood studios this morning, a neat combination of rides and insight into film making. We visited rides such as stars wars 3D, the stunt show and backlot studios (same as the Paris one) before our longest queue of the trip - waiting for the lunch queue!
We then popped back for a dip in the pool and a snack before heading beck for more early evening rides. The first ride was an tram travelling through film sets with actors jumping on and off the tram aa we went through. One of the best rides yet had to be the toy story 4D ride, a shoot em up ride with wind blowing in your face. We fastracked this, but some people were queuing 3 hours for this pleasure. Nutters!
By this time a storm had brewed and had given us a severe soaking, but our spirits were not dampened (excuse the pun) as we headed for one last ride - the legend if jack sparrow. In this the boys were choosen to be involved in the animation ans sequence lifting a special key in the air when prompted by 3D image of a skeleton head. All of us were rewarded with a sticker for their efforts.
Our journey back was presented with a show walt disney wouldve been proud of, a lightening storm the lit up the entire sky with blasts of sheet lightening coupled with the odd fork lightening. One such blast above the tower of terror was an awesome (as the americans say) sight.
