We flew into Bangkok this afternoon and took a taxi to Koah Sam road - a place full of backpackers and hostels. We stayed in the 4 Sons hotel (full of Israelis!) and checked in. Later in the evening we had a stroll up Koah Sam road and grabbed a drink. There were hundreds of people in the street trying to sell us things, including a tiny 8-year old girl who cajoled me into having a thumb war with her. I lost, and had to buy a rose. We got back to the hotel, and tried to block out the karoke night being held next door to get some sleep.
