Howdy folks Well we're in Venezuela now - after what seemed like an age in Peru. We followed the well travelled 'gringo trail' and left a few days early so we could spend a bit more time here. Journey to Caracus was pretty good - had a nice hotel booked in town. Caracus by all accounts is very dangerous - muggings, kidnappings - all that sort of stuff.
