So...no fear everyone. We survived "Monica" - was all an experience though. The day after we'd arrived in Darwin we booked our 3 day camping tour of Kakadu and Litchfield National Parks. All sounded good - however the day before we were due to leave came the news that cyclone Monica was on it's way and was due to hit Darwin the day we went bush. Oh dear....seems like Darwin may not have been my best idea. Now we're waiting to see if the cyclone is going to hit - so our trip to Kakadu may be cancelled and we'll have to sit it out in a shelter... Watch this space!

So - it was Fraser Island and then back to Bris for a couple of days to recharge the batteries. Camping is hard work! We stayed in the most fantastic hostel In Bris - a listed Queenslander. The perfect place to unwind. Met up with Mr Spoto again - for a few too many drinks. But was all very good fun. Very sad not to have been able to see Jen and Lexie though. A 4 hour flight to the Top End yesterday - has brought us to Darwin. And it's pretty hot up here. All goo...
