I've got this down. We never have EVERYTHING done before flight time, so I use the layover in Houston to allow for last minute running around. Jenny was interested in Rice University, so I booked a tour. We leave Chicago at noon, land in Houston, rent a car, and the punch list begins. Ashleigh ran out of contacts lens, so to nearest Opthamologist at a mall and they fill her prescription. Check. None of the girls have bikinis/swim-wear in good shape from last year. We hit a mall and find suits. Ash & Jen find a giant human-hamster ball inflateable attraction and can't resist. Check. I have last minute business Fed Ex to send out and stop off at a Marriott to use their business center and hit a FedEx Kinkos. Check. Stop at CVS for 5 neckrolls as the overnight to Bogota is 5 hours and there are no pillows on flights anymore. Mapcap ride through Houston / suburbs. We forget to eat from noon until we return to the airport at 10 pm. Grab a pizza slice and board our midnight flight to Bogota. I strategically book out every other seat in exit row behind the wing. Figure they won't fill the exit row and the girls can lie sideways to sleep. Backfires when the attendent realizes Ash is only 14 and min.age 15 in exit row, so she gets bump back to sit with a nice older Colombian lady and practices her Spanish. We fly overnight and land in Bogota at 5 a.m..
