Well after 6 days in Phuket..what can I say... Gold coast on steroids...
Staying in a three star resort called the RMar right in the heart of the action,but feels like no one else in the complex... Massive grounds and great amenities. Defo recommend this hotel.
Hired a scooter with the boys for 4 days and in the first 5mins fell off the thing going round a corner on the main drag folling the other three boys...cars,trucks bikes...was lucky was only going 15kms tops...slid off for 10 meters smashing the light,review Mirror and a few scratches to the bike.
Not a mark on me,or ripped clothes,was in shorts,T-shirt and thongs...but a little sprained ankle,but nothing to stop me walking..
Damo and I loved crushing round the island,as this was probably the best part of Phuket for me.great place to start my trip and just expect nothing... This is the best and only way to travel!
Plenty of Aussies here... Cheap food,cheap massage... But still none s yet.
So many s***s and giggles every moment... Dinner on top of the mountain looking down on Phuket...found a reggae bar... Dino bar ...you name it they have it or will find it!!
Went out in bangalore rd for the last night and it was pumping... Transvestites (even a photo) haha...hookers, massage ladies...bars with light shows and pole dancing on second floor for the whole street to see..went to the tiger bar as this was the craziest bar in the street has over 70 bars on one floor. Was told it used to be a hotel converted into a 3 story party bar....
Really looking forward to going to Krabi,east of Phuket.this place is recommended for a more relaxed feel..
