It is so exciting to read about all your adventures! I had to laugh about the sheep! It sounds so like what would happen to you! I bet Ian and Chris were just laughing at you chasing the sheep through the town! Stay safe, we miss you lots!

I am so glad that Chris was able to take a picture of you and your sheep! Only you, Matthew, only you.
I hope that you have found a post office in the middle of all of your excitement...I am ready for my birthday post card that you claim you are sending.

Hey baby brother! I am glad to hear that all of you are having such a good time! All of your adventures sound interesting and I wish I could see everything along with you! I have had to get myself back into the habit of studying, but one day maybe I can be cool like you and travel the world! Hope to hear from you soon!
Miss and love you!

Hey Babyboy, Good news, your all still alive!! I was a little worried after receiving the call from Inkaterra. I called back to hear you had left Aquas Calientes by way of the train, headed to Cusco. Sorry your plans for that part of the trip didn't work out because Inkaterra was an awesome experience! Colca Canyon sounds beautiful as does Arequippa, Michelle and I tried to fit those two locations into our schedules, didn't work for us. We were able to see the Incan Mummies in Ica, we saw the most famous mummy "Juanita" there. It is a real experience to see how many mummies and artifacts have been recovered from the Incan tombs and cemetaries. Your overnight trips on the buses sound like memorable moments!!! Hope you can afford some of the trains along the way, although I do get a good laugh out of your stories!! Excited to hear about Chile, don't forget you promised pictures!! I LOVE YOU, MOMMY XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO

Alex
Alex, you should definitely meet us. We'll have snacks and drink beers!
Hope you are having a great time. And continue having those good experiences.... I'm still thinking about the possibility of meeting you in B Aires. I don't know yet. Till there, enjoy the trip.
Alex, the Brazilian friend.
Geo
Geo, Haha... I like your messages. I actually just got out of the snow in some mountain passes in Peru. Lonely Planet forgot to mention that it only snows in Peru during the Summer time, yeah I didnt think it made sense either. Anyway, I'll take your advice.
Cheers,
Matt
Matt! How's the journey bud?
It's snowing in Atlanta tonight! Dude, Snow! Everyone with an ounce of outdoor blood should have at least walked outside to catch snow on their tongue, make an ice ball to throw at a neighbor's cat (kiddin) or a neighbor or a friend (serious), or collect enough for a snow martini. Second, whatever your passion or delight in this January anomaly or any such display, I invite you to participate in it and remember all of the little gifts the big guy in the sky gives every day just to make you smile.
Cheers and snowballs to all!!! *lol* Betcha could use one right now :)
Geo
Oh btw, I highly recommend snow martinis...vodka in this case. The snow chills it just right, forms perfect little frosty icebergs reminiscent of the one that sank the Titanic, and gives it an ever so crisp finish. I don't think I've enjoyed a drink like this since my college days during Spring break in that Turkish bar... *kiddin!!!!* Geeze, you're so reactionary! *big grin* *wink* But this drink is tasty.
Cheers! Be safe, have fun... in that order.
Dad
Hey guys! enjoyed your pics. I have been thinking about you and the Inka trail today. Today (Sunday) is supposed to be the toughest day on the trail. I am keeping all of you in my prayers. I look forward to hearing from you when you get to Aguas Caliente. There should be some papers at the Inkaterra Hotel for you to sign and "MAIL" back. Hope all is well and that you arrive safely. Luv, Dad
Janet
AWESOME PICS!
You guys make quite a team. I almost feel like I'm traveling with you. Thanks for the glide! Stay well, I look forward to seeing more of your adventures and just how really scruffy you can get! JB
David
Hey Fellas,
Sorry it took so long for me to leave a message. Apparently, you have to complete a simple math problem in order to post... Anyways, it sounds like you guys are having quite an adventure down there. Also, tell Christopher that I'm glad he decided to go; someone has to be there to solve the riddles in the ancient temples to disarm the traps and snares ^^ Be safe and have fun.

Dana
hey matt...looks like you are enjoying your trip so far... i expect you to teach me some of those Peruvian dance moves when you get back, so hopefully you took notes :)

Buenas Noches Babyboy, Christopher and Ian,
I hope you had a great time on your adventure with your "Cusco family" today, the description of your day trip sounded very interesting. It was sure HARD to say "see you soon" last night!!! I left Cusco with a heavy heart early this morning but at the same time I am so excited for the experiences yet to come for all of you!!! I am also so happy that Christopher decided to join you, what an experience for two brothers and a great friend!!
Michelle and I left Cusco for an all day train ride across the Andean Mountains to Puno, Peru. The train ride was awesome, we saw so many wonderful things including a Puma! I'm sure you will love visiting this part of Peru when all of you fly here next week!
I LOVE ALL OF YOU and wish God's blessings upon you and your trip. Please be very careful and observant, ALWAYS!!!
LOVE, Your Mom and Mrs. Pam xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
