Hey Matt!
Thought you'd like to know - IT's COBIA SEASON! LOL
I took my daughter on your tour through the website, she loves the Captain Morgan and Dolphin shots. Now, just don't feed the lions!
Stay Safe! Happy Easter! Arrrgghhh!

Great pictures again. Africa looks really interesting. Looks like you are having a blast. Love, Dad

YAY new pictures! My comments: the SHARKS, ostriches, bugs and SCORPION are scary. The bus looks fun. America wins again because we have the largest canyon. I am glad you survived the sand storm! I really wish I could comment directly on the pictures! Don't pick up any children in Namibia like Angelina and Brad- that is not a souvenir I would enjoy. Love, Allie B

Hey Matt,
I'm off to Uganda in August to a little city called Kampala to work in a mission. Wanna check it out for me before I go?, haha. beware of the Lords Army, and pretty much the whole border. Fair Winds.
Dad
Hey Matthew and Ian! Great pictures of Buenos Aires! I really want to got there sometime. I heard about your swimming with great whites in Capetown, South Africa. You might be college graduates, but I question how smart you are sometimes. Have fun in Africa, and BE careful. Love, Dad

Be careful and have fun in Africa! I can not believe that you have already finished the South America portion of the trip. This is the portion of the trip that I am most excited about for you.

I LOVE the penguin pictures!! It would be so great to get a postcard from one of you boys soon. You will have to pick up the slack for Ian because he's not having much luck with mail (electronic or otherwise)! I am so glad you update the pictures so often!! I miss you!!

Hey Matt! Hey Ian!
Your narrative is really informative. I really love the background materials. It has me looking this stuff up to read more about it. Volcanoes, Moving Glaciers and Penguins. I really love seeing the wildlife and the awesome natural flowers! Thank you for sharing.

Hey Matt, I have downloaded all your blogs that I have missed. I am going to put it in a 3 ring book so I can share your travels with all my family and friends. I still want to hear from you by e-mail so I know what's happening and that you and Ian are OK. Remember, you now have an adopted Grandmother! Will tell Phil all about your adventures. He won't believe it!

Matt,
What's up man! It looks like you're having an awesome time, I knew you would! When I heard you were making a trip like this I was hoping that you would live up every second of it, and it definitely looks like you are.
Leave Iraq off of your destination list. It's flat, hazy, and dusty. There isn't much worth seeing, not where I am anyway. The big cities might be a little cooler, and seeing one of Saddam's old palaces would be cool, but I doubt I'll get the chance to do anything like that. I'll fill you in on the details of my trip out here when we are both back home, enjoying a bottle (or thirteen) of Guiness.
The days are long out here and usually tedious, but getting to read your messages and look at your pictures is an awesome break in the monotony. Keep up the good work, and I'll keep checking back.
