Hey everyone!
Bit of a mixed blog 2day as been to 3 different countries since last blog! What a life, eh?
Since last blog we have walked the geothermal pools of Rotorua, hot water springs, dominated the luge at record breaking speeds, eaten our finest (and largest!) meal to date with the local Maori people and viewed a live volcano.
For anyone planning to visit Rotorua I highly recommend doing the Mitai experience; where they cook u a traditional underground dinner, teach u the haka as well as an assortment of maori dances and traditions. Good fun. I also highly recommend staying with Jean Douglas, a fabulous host and tour guide who will look after your every need and teach u some valuable lessons in life. Thanks Jean, u will not be forgotten.
After Rotorua, NZ we travelled north to the Coramandel Peninsula to check out the hot water beach where u can dig random holes in the beach and experience natural hot water in your tippy toes. Lovely.
We then made our last stop in New Zealand, Auckland to see my main man '50 Cent'. His concert was real good and a great way to celebrate one's birthday. Cheers 4 the good company Miff!
Next stop, Fiji. Fiji is beautiful. The typical idealic island that u see on the brochures truely come to life when u arrive. We went island-hopping for 12 days and drank Cava (the local authentic mud water!), participated in crab-racing (3rd place for me unfortunately) and enjoyed some of the finest snorkelling in the world!
Before leaving Fiji we took our deepest plunge yet into the shark-infested waters of Beqa Lagoon! Similar to the shark-cage diving we did in South Africa (just without the cage!). We were literallly 5-6 feet away from over 10 Bull Sharks at 30m below and it was amazing! There were also other species of sharks and plenty of other marine life to absorb. If u ever get to Fiji, do it.
We arrived in LA yesterday after going back in time like Doc Brown and are currently residing in the hood (Inglewood, to be more concise). Off to muscle beach and Hollywood over the next few days.
Hope all is good at home.
Peace from South Central LA
