08/04/09 Railay to Ko Lanta We don't set an alarm and have a leisurely morning when we realise we've missed the only boat to Ko Lanta so we get a long tail boat to Ao Nang then a pickup-taxi to Krabi and a minivan to Ko Lanta. We arrive late afternoon and settle into our room. The water is cloudy and the beach is really rocky so not a good start when everyone we've met keeps raving about how beautiful it is here...we plan to move in the morning. 09/04/09 Ko Lan...

02/03/09 Phuket 12am and we're going ok, it's pretty cramped but we're coping, the bus stops and we have some very spicy curry and try to get back to sleep when the air con starts dripping onto me, plus it's bloody freezing now! The driver tells us to move seats but the only free ones are at the very back and one of the seats is broken, Matt upsets the host man who is later really rude to me. We wake up every hour until we finally arrive stiff necked and frozen....

30/03/09 Bangkok We get up late this morning and pack up some stuff to post home (yes people that does mean presents!) and then we go and grab some breakfast and spend a little time on the internet before we go off to find the post office. On our way back we take a little detour and find that the next street over from Khao San is really nice, shame we're leaving tomorrow! We just spend the rest of the day chilling out, eating, surfing the net and generally just ...

We get up around 7 becuase there's a bloody cockerel crowing outside our room and has been for the past 3 hours and get some bikes so we can cycle around the park, it's really beautiful this time in the morning, not to mention a bit cooler and the ruins are really amazing. We have a good roam around on our bikes but it's not too long before it's super hot so we take the last of our photos and head back to get osme breakfast shower and head back to Bangkok by bus....

23/03/09 We wake around 6am to get our bus for Flight of the Gibbon and some cable flying fun! There are two Welsh people (he he) in our group of 8. We sign our lives away and then get kitted up. We have two guides North and some other guy, North is a bit of a joker and starts saying things like ‘The equipment is safe because it’s made by the French not Chinese’ although I think he might have been serious on that one, even though we all found it funny.
