gaucho Hola Matt, Soy el ex-socio de tu abuelo Clif, ese que nacio en Buenos Aires. Te conoci brevemente durante el 50. Aniversario de Bodas de tus abuelos en Gainesville. El ya nos habia contado de tu aventura y ahora me escribio de tu Blog, que fue un placer de leer. Primeramente felicitaciones por tu emprendimiento y la buena causa que estas ayudando, deberiamos tener mas como tu. Segundo, tus planes para ver esos magnificos lugares de Sudamerica son estupendos. Como tu ya escribes, Marzo puede ser un poco tarde para visitar a Tierra del Fuego, pero tu eres joven. LLevate una buena parca! Espero que Buenos Aires, mi ciudad natal, te guste, hay mucho para ver, Puerto Madero es una de las ultimas atracciones que incluso yo no he visto. Como en toda ciudad grande, cuidate en no mostrar que eres turista, esconde tu camara cuando no la usas. Los Porteños, asi llaman a los nacidos en Buenos Aires son en general muy buena gente, pero desgraciadamente tambien alli las drogas producen problemas. Las Cataratas del Iguazu son maravillosas y aunque durante esa epoca quizas no corra mucha agua, son impresionantes. La parte mas linda de las cataratas es la de la Argentina, pero tendrias que ir al Brasil para verla bien. No se como es la situacion con las visas al Brasil hoy en dia, pero yo definitivamente iria a la aduana de la frontera cuando esta alli y preguntaria si te dejan visitar por unas horas sin visa. Mejor todavia, trata de averiguar localmente como esta la situacion. Nosotros tuvimos un guia local, lo alqilamos con el auto, que nos llevo al Brasil por todo un dia sin tener visa. Pasamos como Argentinos que en aquel entonces no necesitaban visas. Te envidio por el resto de tu viaje, ni yo tuve el placer de visitar esos lugares. Espero que te tomes un poquito de tiempo en dejarnos saber a todos aqui de tus experiencias durante tu viaje, y a tu vuelta a Alaska mucho me gustaria ver las fotos que sacaste. Have fun! Janet Hi Matt, Hope all is well. It's fun to read about your travels..though this blogging is new to me...I'm behind the times, but maybe posting a message will work? Emily graduates in May and has been accepted to several colleges so far...not sure where she'll end up though. All is well here and we look forward to seeing you in May. Time sure flies doesn't it?
