Flew to the Brazil side of Iguazzu falls today, and baking hot in the sun! Left our luggage at airport and went to the falls where our quick snack lunch was pinched by small furry animal with striped tail right off the table!!
The water level of the falls was lower then usual but fantastic sunshine to see rainbows in the water. Loads of butterflys.
Headed back to get luggage then travelled across boarder to the town on the Argentinian side of the falls and our first steak and red wine dinner, yum

Helena graciously left out one moment of embarassment that I feel obligated to include. On approaching the Argentinian border, our 'experienced in getting across the border' taxi driver asked to check we still had out documents. I'd lost my entry slip! He wasn't sure whether this would be a problem or not, but would speak to the border officials on my behalf. It turned out not to be a problem provided my passport was stamped. After we'd got back in the taxi, and handed over an appropriately inflated tip, he told us that no stamp in the passport would have cost 250 Reals showing that he wasn't quite as unfamiliar with the situation as we originally thought! ;)
