Thursday evening and Matt and I are drinking coffee in a cafe called Simone (with really friendly waiters), by the docks area in BA (feels like the Docklands in London in this area as very modern). Just moved to a beer as it gets dark outside!
Last night we made it with seconds to spare to catch the porter at Luciana´s appartment to get the keys, as our flight was an hour late and he had coat on and umbrella in hand just as we stepped up to door! We looked silly in our t-shirts just landed from warmer Iguassu falls into rainly cold BA evening.
We realised roads are very long in BA after our attempt to find a restaurant that we thought was "just near by" and ended up walking for ages! Steak and wine was worth it though
Today was a day of exploring and Matt using his Spanish on the taxi drivers!
Matt´s Spanish did fall down when we stopped at a bakery and he asked for a slice of "Gato" which is "Cat" in Spanish so the lady looked rather amused and puzzled before suggesting we point at what we were after. The word "Torta" has now been committed to memory for next time!

In the evening we treated ourselves to a quite expensive, but well worthwhile, tango show and...surprise surprise...steak dinner. The show was great, lots of dancing of course, with interspersed singing and plenty of audience participation from those that knew the words.
