So it's our final day in Hong Kong. What a great city! We jumped on the Star Ferry again this morning and headed over to Kowloon again. First stop was the famous Peninsula Hotel to sample the afternoon tea, all awfully English with scones, jam and cucumber sandwiches. Alice thought she was back in Wonderland with the Mad Hatter! Quick check in to our hotel in Wan Chai on Hong Kong Island before we (MB, Mrs B,JC, Marie, the birthday girl and Alice) headed off across Victoria Harbour to Kowloon for dinner. Amazing restaurant called Aqua with top views of the harbour and some cracking Asian food. Sushi, sashimi and some black cod that must have been conjured up by Heston it was so delicious!

After, ahem, a lengthy lie in today, we headed up to The Peak, Hong Kong's highest point for a great view of this top city. At 428 metres high above the skyscrapers, The Point has been this city's 'des res' place to live since Britain had a governor here and Queen Victoria was on the throne. All arrived safely and excited into Hong Kong last night. Flight was fantastic with a pretty lively Asian curry to get us in the mood. Alice more than happy with Cathay's London option of fish and chips! Can't help but notice the locals seem to have taken to Alice already. Queuing at passport control, she was like something off the X Factor with requests to take her picture!
