Well today was our last day of officallytraveling! It has come round so fast! We don't fly until 10.30pmtonight so all we did today was drop the car off and went to the cinema to tryand waste some time. Just as you pass back into California there is the Redwood National Park, this is where the massive Red Wood trees live. We called into the Visitors Centre to get a map and set off to the park. On the drive in, the trees are pretty dam big but they're nothing compared to the giant Red Woods. We stayed in a Motel 6 just outside Portland and it was only a short drive into town. Portland seemed to be a much nicer place and we found a square to sit in and enjoy the sun and live music they had playing. We even found the hotel that was mentioned in Mel's Fifty Shades of Grey book as that was set in Portland. We liked the Cracker Barrel that much we went there for breakfast as well. It was a straight run to Seattle now. On the map Seattle is surrounded by lots of water ways, so we thought it would have a really nice water front and we were going to sit and relax with a coffee on the front.
