THE INCA TRAIL After over 3 months in Latin America we finally reached the date that was initially the primary reason for travelling to the continent in the first place - hiking the original Inca Trail for 4 days to reach Machu Picchu - the hidden city of the Incas. First stop in Peru was Mancora. Apparently one of the best places to surf in S. America, but sadly very few waves and the waves that did come were rammed, so we gave it a miss and swam with the fishes. Literally.
