Hello You Two, I figured it was about time I sent a message - that is, when I can get the cat off the computer! Hope you two are exploring and enjoying all the sights and meeting some interesting people along the way. People at work ask about you both regularly. Betty Middleton was asking what you were up to and she said she was really envious of you. Take care, speak soon. Lots of love.

Hi Guys!!
Well, I guess that you're gonna be a lot warmer than I am here in Yellowknife, Canada at the moment. We currently have temperatures of about -25 to -40 depending on the wind & time of day. Nosehairs freeze now!! I have a job with a great family-owned business doing Admin & Accounts Receivable. The pay is more or less the same as I was back home, so I'm pleased about that. The people I work with are really great & they are all fascinated with my accent, so I'm a bit of a novelty for them at the moment! It has been really nice to see the change in temperature since I got here, but I must admit that I was surprised at how fast the snow arrived & the temperature dropped - I was expecting it to be more gradual than it has. I'm driving this time, on the 'wrong' side of the road & on ice too - thank God for 4 wheel drive. It's good that I can get about better without having to rely on lifts. Christmas for me will be in Yellowknife - I'm guaranteed a White Christmas here, and besides, I haven't got the holiday entitlement - the worst part about this job is that I only get 2 weeks plus public holidays, so I need to save that for when my family visit so that I can show them around. I will miss my family so much, but I will be seeing them on webcam, so we can save our presents & open them together (that's if they can wait, because I'm 7 hours behind them!!!). Anyway, that's me for now. You look like you're having a fantastic time, although I can't imagine how you are carrying all those bags around with you! Keep having a fantastic time & make sure you let me know when you're getting to Canada!! Lots of Love, Helen & Nelson xxx

Just wondering if you've made any loose plans for your trip over here to Oz? We are dying to see you both, so let us know if you think you can fit in a visit if you get chance.

Hello Helen and Matt,
I have been reading your travel diary and really enjoy it. Wish I could go on such a long train journey. I liked the video of you on the Mongolian highway, it looked just like off-roading. J'éspere que vous avez passé les temps fantastique. A bientot.

Just another quick note to ask how you both are. I am feline fine as usual.
Nothing has really been happening here, although a couple of days ago
we had a visitor-not that I mind visitors normally-but this one was a Ginger Tom. True! In the house! Well, my hackles rose, and I waded into him-he did not know what hit him. I feared the life out of him, as well as your dad ! We will not be seeing him again in a hurry-the Ginger Tom I mean, not your dad. The cheek of it !
A quick joke before sign off. ... .
Why did the cat cross the kittens playground -----to get to the other slide !
After that awful joke I had better be gone. Take care, and I love you both.

Hi Helen & Matt,
You seem to have met a lot of friendly people, journeyed in various modes of transport and stayed in some wonderfully weird places!
Enjoyed the "China Experience" as I'm still hoping to go there one day.
Just had a visit from my granddaughter - and Michael and Angie as well. She's a little smasher - but I'm biased of course!
Loved the goatee Matt - think it makes you look very suave. How're you coping with the washing Helen?
