Rainy days

Yesterday it rained non stop from early morning to last thing at night. We headed out towards the old town, but about 20 minutes in and able to wring our trousers out (whilst still wearing them of course) we decided to head back to the hostel. Did I mention that we both have colds? So we figured the rain wasn't going to help.

Today was a lot brighter; we went to the Palac Kultury where you can go up to the top (30 floors) and look out over Warsaw. After that we went back to the hostel for a rest (makes us sound old I know) then headed out again for a look around the old town.

Warsaw would have been ok if a) we weren't ill and b) the weather was a little better. Still, a fairly chilled out start to the trip. Feels like we should be heading home and back to work…but we're NOT!!!
