After our overnight train to surat thani we headed for koh sok national park where we would be staying for the next four days, for the first two nights we would be stopping on rafthouses in the middle of a massive lake surrounded by rainforest. this place was stunning as u can see from the photos, we were surrounded by all types of monkeys, gibbons and eagles and stuff and loads of lizards who liked to sllep in our warm rom with us at night. it is one of the oldest untouched rainforest areas in the world it was really cool, there was a little bar for a few beers at night and we had to wash in the lake which was nice and refreshing, there was toiltes but i thought seeing as we were doing everything else in the lake a few number ones wouldnt hurt, i didnt see any foaters pop out though. we went kayaking to look at the wildlife and bush walking poking at tarantulars and other minging insects it was quality, after 2 nights we left our quiet rafthouses and headed back to land deep into the national park. when we got to our new location in the middle of the jungle it was baking hot and there was no breeze at all, our accomodation was good though we would be staying in these sort of tree house things that were built on stilts and there was monkeys everywhere, they even climb down and peek into our little houses! so here we did a trek in the national park and went to another monkey temple, this time though i managed to get through the experince without being nearly monkey raped! after 2 nites here it was off to krabi and our first sight of the sea since we have been travelling!
