We got to Lima eventually! Arrived to an airport full of stares.The centre seems really poor and scruffy. We are not however staying in the centre we are in miraflores. In the light of day things seem very different. No poverty in sight security on every corner and wierd huge casinos and one of the poshest shopping centres ive seen. Its Christmas! The timing meant that I spent this day, christmas eve halfway up some Inka mountain! When I booked this trip Machu Pichu was one of the things I really wanted to see.
