We camped on our first proper campsite, so there was a dash for the showers and washing machines, then we had a day walking the sites of Prague city after we had mastered the bus and tram system.Prague was full of the usual tourist traps, but even so the old city was worth the visit. We tried the local delicacy of twists of sweet pastry covered in sugar and cinnamon, virtually cooked to order. The castle had a bit of pomp and ceremony when they changed the guards, and a trumpeter on the top of the Cathedral at midday.
We spent some time chatting to an 80 year young traveller from Switzerland, so you can never say you are too old.
On the drive towards Vienna for our next stop we visited the ossuary at Sedlek normally called the church of bones, which was a bit unusual to say the least.
Several people have bought extra sleeping bags to stave off the cold nights.
