The early plane from Brisbane was too early for Sydney and the fog surrounding the airport. After circling over the harbor bridge we were diverted back to Brisbane. Sitting on the Tarmac in Brisbane the plane was refueled as we waited for the fog to clear. Getting into Sydney mid afternoon we had missed the connecting flight to Vancouver. After some confusion at the airport Air Canada confirmed that we would be rescheduled for tomorrow's flight and would be comped for an overnight stay in Sydney. Staying at a nice hotel I enjoyed a comfortable night in a big bed. Might rbe a while till I stay somewhere this nice.
