So after packing up and saying our goodbyes to the Ellis's and the 'Hard-Firms' we took off to continue our journey with the Cronans to Esperance. We all woke a bit exhausted from our massive effort over the last few days crossing the Nullabor. The time difference thing has also had an impact, don't know how all those jet setters do it all the time!! It also didn't help that it rained heavily all night and the wind was shaking the van a bit. Well Day 2 of the Nullarbor crossing commences. We had set our alarm for 7am WA time which meant 5:30am SA time it went off buzzing. It was one of the worst nights sleep I'd had in a while, van rocking and noisy squealing wind. Today we headed off early knowing that we were doing a few hundred kms....our aim being Border Village which was 400kms away on the SA/WA border, hence the name (very original).
