The weather has definitely been of the tropical nature since we arrived at Proserpine on Saturday - it has been glorious sunshine and 27 degrees followed by torrential downpours. The winds have also made it difficult for us to do some of the sailing trips. We did do a 3 island cruise yesterday - to Daydream Island, Hamilton Island and then Whitehaven beach. The cruise was extremely choppy, a bit like a white knuckle ride, but I loved it! I am hoping the wind will drop a little bit more over the next 2 days, so that I can do either another sailing or fishing trip, or perhaps even a scenic airtour .... I will keep you posted.
