We decided to do a last minute boat trip up to the Mekong Delta on our last day in Ho CHi Minh, we travelled down the river stopping at different islands to see how the locals live, teaching us how they make honey, coconut candy etc, we even got to hold a snake around our necks!! We have been in Ho Chi Minh now for 3 days and are having a really nice time in the city. We have decided to stay in Hoi an for a bit longer and head straight to Ho CHi Minh, skipping Nha Trang as Hoi an as everything we need and its so nice here, save us a 12 hour bus journey to Nha Trang and then another 12 hour bus journey to Ho Chi Minh, decided to fly straight there for roughly the same price!! We have been nearly a week in Vietnam now and having such a good time. Hanoi, as mentioned before, was really hectic, so busy.
