Photo frenzy - check out the photos from Miami, Chicago and our 24 hours bus ride! Last night we went to see Spider Man 3 with Andy from Bath and some neighbours from next door, we then went round to see Dallas by night which was awesome! Today, we headed into Dallas on the train and went to the 6th floor museum where JFK was shot! Quite amazing to be there, and managed to miss the thunder storm too, which was nice! 24 hours later, 1131 miles, 3 buses and some great stories to tell, we find ourselves in Dallas, Texas, 10 mins outside the city in Irving! The Greyhound was a fantastic experience, on the bus from St. Louis to Memphis a man had to be escorted from the bus from what I can as politely say as soiled himself on his seat... the bus was in hysterics, thankfully the offending seat was removed! Hello! Well, again, had an excellent day, didnt start off too well, as we had to change rooms due to a mess up by the hostel here, but resulted in a smaller room with en-suite so, horah! Next, my bank quite kindly thought there was fraud on my card, but no, that was me getting money out in Miami, all sorted now ( thanks for the email folks ) Unfortunately, Chicago is booked up so we're moving on, and we're heading south to Dallas!! Just got back from Buddy Guy's Blues Bar in Chicago, absolutely breathaking music, hearing the harmonica live is something else, felt like I was in a movie or something, shot some pool too, felt very cool!!! WOW, what a 24 hours! So much to tell... Yesterday in Miami me and mike hit the beach one last time, waited til the heat had calmed down a little as we are nursing nice burns! We left the beach around 8PM and headed back to the hostel, then we witnessed the most amazing storm, absolutely chucked it down... never heard thunder like it and the lightening lit up the sky (it made the news!), we were starving, so had to make a run for it and only made it over the road...
