My First stop in New Zealand was in Christchurch. Upon arrival the first thing that I noticed was the roads in the taxi, as I journeyed from the airport to the hostel. Every road is perfectly flat and straight, corners don't exist and the majority of the cars are from around the 1990's. The hostel is really clean and comfortable, and everyone I met is very friendly. I got on great with my roommates and the others in the hostel, and about 4 hours after arriving ...

After a very long flight, (11.20) of which, I didn't sleep a wink, I finely arrived at Bangkok. The moment I got out of the plane I new I was in for a shock. The airport alone was massive and looked really futuristic. After I got my bag I went to get a taxi and was robbed, as I didn't know how much a taxi from the airport should be, I paid 1200 baht when I later found out I should have only paid about 300 baht, (not the best start but I'm sure they need the money...

Tomorrow my Travels begin so I'm just after setting up this blog so that my friends and family can follow me on my travels.
