We caught a minibus to the pier at 12.30pm yesterday to catch a boat to Ko Pi Pi. It took us about 30 mins to get there and when we did it was like Piccadilly Circus. We arrived at Bangkok station about 2 hours early because we allowed plenty of time due to the congestion (our experience so far has demonstrated that it takes 4 times as long to get anywhere in Bangkok than it should do).
