A pause for thought. Markaen Philosophy for today... The fuzzy haze of last night lifts before my eyes like the morning dew as cup of coffee number 2 sets in (a sumptuous creme bruleé latte) gently sweeping away the cobwebs in my mind...

"The night climaxed in the Arab quarter of the city last night. As we opened the car door the icy cold air conditioned air slipped out making it's less that subtle leave from us, but in it's wake what remained held an even greater seduction. On the air the subtle and oh so familiar enticement of shisha!!! My senses became alert, my pulse quickened and my lungs sighed with expectation. Tendrils of smokey apple menthol surrounded me ready to make their attack. I surrendered to them and flopped Into their waiting embrace. Slow deep breathes of luxurious inner warmth protruding deeply into my entire being. Reclining opposite me the picture of serene happiness Chrisboy... We reclined together recounting our many travels releasing an endless supply of smoke rings. A Friendship built over over a lifetime, unforgettable moments in time. My best friend, my brother, my traveller was back and pure joy does not seem to capture the magnitude of the moment. So we lounged in the comfortable silence, a silence which was unspoken, unplanned and without wanting... But in itself spoke a millions words.
