'What happens if they come alive and kill us all Mr Hughes?'

This was the first question of the day from one of my students upon seeing thousands of Terracotta warriors.

Part of me could see what he meant. These lifelike statues where amazing, different faces on each life sized head. That and the fact there were over 6000 of them!

The afternoon was spent cycling round the city walls of Xi'an, 90 mins on a bicycle (now that's a sore ass!) Yuwen informed me it had been 20 years since she last road a bike, I realise it has been two years since I last road. Despite this we has a great tine meandering round the wall not a pupil in sight. Ahhh peace in the afternoon smog.
