Stationed at Albany we have been doing some exploring. Firstly we went to the National Anzac Centre, which was stunning, it's very location, looking out to the harbour from where they all left. We were all given a card of an Anzac and we could follow their history . It was all very interactive ,interesting and beautifully presented. We also went up Mt Clarence ,where there is a monument to the mounted desert corps, all with a great lookout over the harbour.
We also had a trip to Elephant rocks and Greens pools, we were very lucky with the weather, sunshine for photos. It really is spectacular coastline and the huge boulders amaze. I will put some photos in later as they are taking to long to download.
Then we went of to the valley of the Giants and did a fabulous walk (Ancient Empire) around theses huge buttressed trees. The boys then paid to do the air walk, I left them to it........... Within 5 mins it was bucketting down and 2 drowned rats turned up at car......... "Lucky there was no lightening "said Jonah......... Steel structures up in tall trees with howling winds, it will be something that they will talk about in years to come.
We are off to the natural bridge today and are enjoying being at Cosy corner.
