We decided to stop at some of the places that you drive past as you head up the coast. First stop after Evans head was Iluka, a sleepy little town, with a old school vibe. Spencer loved the Caravan park we stayed in because it had a Galaga machine that he and dad could have battles on. I think Jonah was surprised that his skill level hasn't changed, even after all these years. Comet loved running along the beach here. The Bluff had a nice little secluded beach for swimming.
Next destination was Brooms Head, what a find........ Jonah booked for 4 nights then decided to get a few more nights after we saw our site. It was 2 metres from the beach, and a magic view. We all swam, walked along the beach, played beach cricket with new friends ( Hugh) rode bikes along the beach and fished. It ended up being 12 nights, we will be back.the only set back was, we had to move places, all of 15 metres, a little inconvenience.
Then it was off to Sandy Bay, just north of Coffs to visit the Valentines.
We were very happy that the girls were home! Lovely family.
