Day 86. Mexico. Well it's been an interesting day today! It was up early for our tour to Taxco and Cuernavaca. The start was a bit disorganised but after a while the tour company managed to assemble the right group and match it with a minibus. After that we began our 3 hour trip to Taxco. Day 85. Mexico. Continued exploring Mexico City today. Went to the Plaza de la Republica and climbed up to the observation deck of the Monumento a la Revolution, and had mixed success bartering at the arts and crafts market at Plaza de la Cuidadela. Managed to avoid falling down any of the frequent holes in the pavement.

Day 84. Mexico. We decided to head out of town today to see the pyramids at Teotihuacan. We did this as an organised tour, although there were only four in our group. The journey there took about two hours by local bus and coach. The Pyramid of the Sun and the Pyramid of the Moon were originally built around 200AD, but were substantially rebuilt about 100 years ago. Day 83. Mexico. Headed out for an explore around Mexico City this morning (see photos). The chaotic traffic of yesterday was much less chaotic today, as many of the streets are closed on Sunday mornings and used for cycling and roller-skating. In the centre there was an international book fair in full swing, while off to one side the International Archery Championship was in progress.
