Sydney is really awesome! Walked around the city, harbours and botanical gardens... all very beautiful. Went surfing on Bondi Beach which was so fun! Also took the ferry across the harbour to Manly Beach. The ferry ride had amazing views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Melbourne is a really nice city, most sights within walking distance + a free tourist tram to get to the rest. Weather was cold and cloudy with a bit of rain. Visited the beach resort of St Kilda, where there was a festival. Saw lots of Chinese New Year festivities which were really fun. Also went to Australia's largest casino!

Three day adventure tour from Adelaide to Melbourne, via the Grampians Ranges and the Great Ocean Road. Explored the beautiful mountains and waterfalls, but the unusual summer rain prevented us from staying out too long. Visisted nature reserves and a temperate rainforest, seeing emus and koalas. 3 Day Adventure Tour to Kangaroo Island! The Island is covered in farmland and thick eucalyptus forests, surrounded by a beautiful coastline. Lots of the forests were blackened by recent fires, but new plants have grown back quickly. Saw so much wildlife: Kangaroos, Wallabies, Koalas, Australian sea lions, New Zealand fur seals, Penguins, Guanas, Black tiger snakes, huge Termites, Cockatoos, and an Echidna! Adelaide is such a beautiful city, full of peaceful parks around a sleepy river. Its so different from the hustle&bustle of HK! On Saturday we watched the Australia Day Parade and saw the concert in the park. Visited the gorgeous beaches of Glenelg and Henley - the sand is so soft and the sea so warm! Tomorrow we're going on a 3 day adventure tour to Kangaroo Island to see the wildlife + go hiking, snorkelling, and surfing!
