Day 6 This morning's destination was Little India, where we came across lots of market stalls, shops and restaurants. We picked up lots of little bargains and had a terrific lunch of tandoori chicken, naan bread, daal & rice. The people here were really welcoming and friendly, and the markets were the cheapest we'd come across so far. We were also able to walk through without hearing cries of 'miss, miss, a new handbag for you!' or 'lovely watch here for you...

Day 3 Continued... After the tropical storm passed we headed to some night markets. By this time we had worked up an appetite, and were keen to sample some of the delicious (and unusual looking!) hawker food. While Mark was slightly more daring, trying anything and everything, we both ended up finding lots of yummy meat and vegetable treats(unfortunately we actually have no idea what we ate and so cannot give you anymore information!). Day 1 What an amazing few days we have had! After our flight being delayed by an hour or so we arrived in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at around 5.30pm (8.30pm EST) on Tuesday Jan 11. We quickly jumped on a bus which took us through the palm-tree lined outskirts of town, past a mixture of modern buildings and shanty towns.
