Melbourne 18-21
We stayed 3 nights in melbourne before picking up "Nasa" from wicked Campers - our road trip to adelaide.
We think we stayed in our worst hostel yet!! we stayed 2 nights before changing to Flinders hostel! The rooms at the elephant Backpackers were dingy - an old office block turned into rooms but that was the problem!! they werent really rooms still laid out as offices and a great big area that was just sectioned off.So you had a key to your room but no walls attached to the ceiling! picture the seen!! you could hear everything...all 50 peaple living!! sleeping peeing pooingand the rest!...still at two am 3 am . not funny after a 2nd night!
We took in the Botanical gardens and Captain Cooks cottage. We strolled the markets at the Victoria gardens, walked through the citys boutique shops and visited the parlaiment house. Got an insight into the lower and upper house where all the politicians battle it out reasoning for law changes!
We went to the observatory enjoyed coffee and found a bed for the 3rd night of our stay.

Tuesday! We pick up our van - NASA - but not as you know it! ours says sprayed on the side Need Another Seven Astronauts...aand on the back Not Always Scientifically Accurate!! It could have been worse.. some of the vans are politically challenged and some may say near the mark! we seem to get away with it this time!
And were off .. to where the Great Ocean meets .... Road! Another adventure.
