We are home!

We had complaints that we didn't update the photos enroute home so I will do so now - please see the photo tab.

Well the first few days of the trip back in June we had the awning on the trailer damaged by a hail storm. The LAST few days of the trip we blew a wheel bearing on the trailer. However we were very very lucky.

A trucker alerted us to the smoke billowing out behing the trailer. The tow truck driver knew how to prop up the axle so we could hobble on three wheels to Kal Tire. They were able to get the wheel off with a lot of work and saved us having to get a new axle. AND lucky that we were in Williams Lake an hour and a bit from my sister's house. She took us and the cats in for the three days it took to get the parts in and the repairs made.

We had a lovely visit with everyone in Quesnel and arrived home September 30th with no other issues.
