Monday 14th
After a fixing the value on the rear tyre, we set off to Lagos for some mayhem. We arrive into Lagos with little directions and liam driving up little streets with the van hardly fitting. We finally arrive to the campsite to meet up with serval vans on the van tour, after setting up we explore some of the coast line before it gets dark. After some dinner we head out for a night in Lagos. We got to a bar called three monkeys where funnels were a normal drink and 2 for 1 cocktails. After several more bars we return to the van in a very happy state.
Tues 15th
Waking up to next morning josh was no where to be seen and Liam's wallet and vans keys were missing. Josh stumbles into his tent after waking up under a bench on the sea front and Liam's wallet and the van keys were no where to be found. Everyone slowly wakes up for the day and walk to the one of the beaches for a swim, with the boys first glance at the topless scenery. We set off for the booze cruise where we find out that we may not be able to get on,but after some talking we get told just jump on the boat and see if the captain will pick up on it. Luckily we were not picked up on it and set off on a all ya can drink booze cruise. With a majority of the boat full of van tour members it was a great way to meet up with people as Lagos was the first place we were with a large amount of vans. After four hours on the sea we arrive back into port where Liam and another guy (who had half his arm in plaster from being mugged a week before and was wearing a baby sized blow up life jacket) decide to hop on another boat and pretend to be driving the boat. within minutes local cops arrive and the boys were in ALOT of trouble. After ten minutes of not knowing what was happening the buys were cuffed and put into the police car. With no idea where they going and getting more worried by the second, Liam was very happy when we get dropped off on the street close to the campsite being let off with a big warning. Margot in the mean time went back to the campsite to find Liam and spent half the night ringing the police station and searching town to find her retarded boyfriend with no luck .
Wed 16th
Waking up everyone with large hang overs, Liam was very happy to find the keys and wallet had been handed into the camp office. Another lazy day with more swimming and trying to find shade. The boys head over to another van where drinking games were in full swing before heading to town. Margot had a quiet one after receiving news about losing one of the local tinui lads.
Thurs 17th
After deciding Lagos has taken enough from us, we decide to pack up and find the van was dead (for the one millionth time). After getting a jump we head off towards Seville. Another night freedom camping was installed for us, after spending a couple of stressful hours finding somewhere.
