Hey guys, well it is now the new year and this is what we have done so far:

On the 1st we travelled to venice, the train trip was horrible and we all arrived very tired and grumpy as people hopped on the train and were very noisy. On the 2nd we took a boat around venice and did some shopping YAY!!! Venice is so pretty with the canals however the down side is there is over 400 bridges. There is lots of pretty venician glass. The weather was warmer and the sun actually had some heat to it! On the 3rd we caught a train to florence. Yesterday (4th) we walked around the streets and saw the dome, which is a huge church. We ate gelati yum yum and shopped at the markets. For dinner we are eating lots of pizza and pasta and it is SOOOO good!!! Today we caught a train to Pisa and saw the leaning tower and had a walk around. The weather was nice enough that we had a picnic in the sun out front of the tower. Tomorrow we are moving on to Rome and we will be staying there until the 12th when we will fly to Santorini. Time is flying. Love MAR
