We finally made it to the Gilis! Kenny and I had a fun time in the Kuta/Legian area of Bali, but by the second day, we were ready to leave. We packed our bags and after an hours wait, we made our way to Padang Bai via Ubud. Padang Bai is so much smaller than Kuta, and I really needed that! It was so much more peaceful. We arrived in Bali yesterday with no problems. Getting through customs was a breeze, we just had to purchase a $25 sticker to put in our passports. After getting slightly scammed by our taxi driver (he didn't take us all the way to our hotel), we checked in and immediately walked the 5 minutes to the beach.
