Jonny ) (Paperback) This is the only guide book you will ever want for Bend. Seriously! It's informative, and laid back, while stainyg true to Bendite culture. Scott really goes out of his way in providing the best hikes, hot springs, canyons, caves, waterfalls, lakes, lavalands, and overall wonders of beautiful central oregon! One big difference between this and other guide books, is Scott's sense of humor, and sense of adventure spewing forth from the pages. It's a very personal guidebook, as all the photography is shot by scott, and he obviously has visited every site he writes about more than once. The addition in the back of the book, of films that were shot in central oregon, is pretty darn awesome too. Oh, and the tree guide is a nice bonus. What else is there to say! get it!
