Up ridiculously early this morning due to a dorm full of 20 year olds arriving home at 2.30am and switching all the lights on (come back private rooms) We decided to make the most of our day and set off for Fishermans Wharf where we went and saw our friends the Sea Lions and followed this up with a 1 hour cruise around the bay including a ride under Golden Gate Bridge. We had another 4.5 hour delay with the train but made it here in good spirits but just really tired. The trains are really good for meeting people and we have met some nice folk today. OK Guys We finally made it to Reno after a 22 hour train journey we had a 5 hour delay so checked in at our motel and had a look around "The biggest little city in the World' to be fair it's just a mini Las Vegas with not much to do unless you gamble but we were glad to get off the train and get a shower and freshen up!!!

OK Guys time for the next update we left Denver yesterday morning to head for Glenwood Springs its around 150 miles from Denver and famous for its natural springs. We had a 6 hour journey but were looking forward to it as this is rated as one of the best train journey's in the world. We have had our best day in Denver today got a few more train journey's booked and some essential shopping done and we also visited the State Capitol the building was quite cool and they had oil paintings of all 42 presidents (there has been 43 but Grover Cleveland has had the job twice!!) they were all painted by the same guy.
