OK guys just a quick message as we are on the free internet and only have 15 minutes!!We are due to leave Ottawa today for Toronto,but yesterday we had a great day in Ottawa. We started by checking into our Hostel, which was the Old Jail House where the last hanging in Canada was performed in 1867. The place is also haunted!!Took a walk up to Parliament Hill to do a tour but all tickets had gone so we settled for a ride up the Peace Tower in an inclinator its 92metres high and gives great views of Ottawa and Quebec just across the river.Stopped for lunch and had the best Hot Dog in the world ever,this was a serious dog.Then met up with Paul and Will (Vicky's cousin) we had a great night had a few drinks and a meal, followed by a drive around the city at night stopping off at various places including Hogsback Park for a look at the falls and river. We have timed it badly and just missed out on the Tulip Festival by a couple of days.Next time we post we should be in Chicago where the fun really starts as we have no idea where we are going or staying while in America, we are flying by the seat of our pants!!!Ta Ra LovesM & M
