Namaste

We are still in Palolem and the last few days have been really mixed. Yesterday we had to hole ourselves up in a bar as it just bucketed it down all day and the thunder and lightning was pretty impressive. It did mean that we got to watch a lot of Premiership football though and we enjoyed the Newcastle v Portsmouth game!!!!

We have pretty much been curried out and last night Mel managed a delicious veggie lasagne and I tucked into a meat and potato pie with mashed potato and veggies which I could have eaten twice!!!!!

Today has been really really hot as the storm cleared the skies and we spent the afternoon on the beach. I went and hired a body board as the waves today were huge and I had a great time until I realised that I had forgotten my sun cream and had burnt my legs and arms!!!!!!

Tomorrow morning we have an early start to get back to Margao for our 18 hour train journey south to Thivandrum and that is if the train is on schedule. Will be in touch from the deep South.
