Well, where to begin!?! Just to fill everyone in from leaving Thailand to arriving in Singapore. We had bought a bus ticket which included a ferry to main land Thailand at 9.00am going through Malaysia then arriving at Singapore at 7.30am the next day. This was what we thought was a good and more importantly cheap option, which worked out 1500 baht (about 21 pounds each). Today was the day of our Jungle Trek and we woke up early to get picked up from our bungalow.. We jumped in the back of a pick-up and there was only 2 other people there - some middle aged German couple. Off we went up to a small group of huts in the jungle where we were shown how to make Thai Red Curry using the raw ingredients and then gotr to try some - bear in mind this is about 9am and were trying a curry which apparently they use around 20 chillies in! After a really great sleep in our new accomodation, which is very lovely by the way! (thanx Lonely Planet). We weoke up at around 10 to get ready to go to the beach and have a little sunbathe... Beach is litterally 100m away from our door, and 'SeaBreeze' has a little bar raised above it. We left Koh Pha-Ngan on 9th Sept to make our way to Koh Tao. The sun was blazing once again and the boat was crowded with everyone going to this island to do a PADI scuba diving course and become a qualified diver. We were pestered by lots of different companies, but chose the cheapest and most cheerful one which cost us 9000 Baht ( 130 pounds) for the course and four days accommodation!! The day after the Full Moon Party we slept for half a day to recover..
