We decided to stay in the Teton National Park for another days sightseeing as we didn't go to Cody, due to road closures. We decided to hike around Taggart Lake. We left the hostel at 5.30am (Dad you would have been proud of us!) to catch sunrise and to get to Yellowstone before the crowds, as we were about a 1.5hr drive from Yellowstone, having to drive through Teton National Park to get there. We left at 7am to get a head start on the Grand Teton National Park, and it was worth it! On the loop we saw the Church of Transfiguration, which was built in the early 1900's, and is in the middle of no where with the most amazing views over the Teton Mountain Range! We based ourselves in Teton Village, just outside of the main town Jackson and right next to the entrance of Grand Teton National Park. We hired a car to make it easier to get around (the only way to get around) and spent the first night in Jackson to see a comedy show. The show was a improvisational show where two teams battled it out for laughs and points. It was really funny but a few of the American jokes went a bit over our heads! The comedians took idea...

First let us begin by recommending that no one ever, even if it was there last option, take a Greyhound bus! We were supposed to take a bus at 10.30am to get us to Austin at 3.30pm, but we didn't manage to get there until 7pm!
