Landing in Koh Samui

Collected my bags once landed and searched for Chloe. Couldn't see her and got panicky. Walked up two corridors and then finally I saw her and I was giving her a cuddle (both of us cried). Luckily she then took over! Phew! Took a taxi to the 'hotel' and unloaded everything into the room. It was an 'OK' room (Chloe thought it was a good oneJ). Although I had been travelling for 24 hours with no sleep, we met up with Liz (Chloe's friend) and went out to explore the town. Too late for food, but managed a couple of cocktails. Next day we did the beach, nice but a little too commercialised. Sellers approached us all day, we all had henna tattoos done (see pics), bought a bat & ball to play (only played with once then it broke!) and an ice lolly. Left the beach with hot corn on the cobs - yummy! That night we did a little shopping, I bought a pretty blue top, me and Chloe bought some designer sunglasses (didn't last the whole holiday!) and Liz bought…….. nothing! This was repeated wherever we shopped ha ha! I ate my first 'Pad Thai' dish and fell in love with Thai food. We finished the night with expensive drinks at the 'ladyboy' show. Very entertaining (see pics) and very good. Their outfits were VERY skimpy and I'm sure they'd all had their 'bits' removed. Either that or very good strapping ha ha! Great figures, great outfits, good songs (Lady Gaga, Whitney Housten etc) but poor miming. Me & Chloe both said one of the petite ones looked a bit like Katie (my niece). Next day was the worst journey of my life………………..!
