Sooo our 2nd and last :'( full day cosisted of us waking up quite late oopsie and realising we only had €37 and half a pack of cigarettes today would have to involve money saving skill so how better to start the day then with 2 cheeseburgers each from gd ol' Maccy D's and a meeting in dam square for a free walking tour.
On our way with my very 'im a tourist' amsterdam hat we got stopped by some college students who, asked if i diddnt mind being recorded for an interview...the interview consisted of them explaning they were wanting to make an app which you could type in your preferences and the app would show u where your ideal w**** would be, after staring in disbelief they explained that w**** = prostitute, so obviously that made it so much less shocking.
The walking tour we did was amazing our lovely tour guide was a young 20 year old german called Lars-Hendrik, we found out loads of random interesting facts, like the law of smoking cannabis being illegal from 1st january 2013 is actualy in force the dutch just have 3 amazing rules 1.if theres a law its there to be broken 2.if you break the law dont tell anyone 3.its ok to break the law as long as you dont hurt anyone LEGENDS!!
We also found out that they worshiped a bit of regurgitated break for years, they once had a rabbit as king, and the french made them pick surnames so they made stupid names up such as the dutch words for blow job giver, from the butt, dog toucher etc the joke was sort of on them as the names stuck and aparently a very fun game is to look in the yellow pages there and find out the translations on google :p we also visited the thinnest house in amsterdam its literally 6ft wide, and visited anne franks house, we diddnt go in as we were poor but my plan is to read the book then make another trip there, thats where our tour ended and we gave him a tip to help him on his merry way, we also did a lot more walking that day and come 7pm we decided we were starving.
Soo by this point we had €12 soo why not use my visa card....no where accepts bloody visa only mastercard :( still starving we spend €10 on some noodles, chrisps, sausage rolls, half a sandwich each and some chocolate, we eat like kings!!!! We chilled out and had an early night knowing we were up early for our flight home.
8am wake up call and we head out the hotel into more beautiful snow as if it started for our leaving, walked to centraal station en route getting 1 postcard id promised my friend in australia, i hope she feels special!!! Got out train to the airport and yes of course we were again 3 hours early but the airport accepted visa yey!!!! McDonalds big tasty sex fest here we come!!! Followed by tony falling asleep and a boring uneventful flight home :( in hindsight i will take more money...lots more and have a blow out the whole time instead of just the 1 day we could afford even tho we had an amazing time on out budget day too, loved it and wanna go back now!!! Its amazing to go travelling by urself but going with someone u get on with and love is amazing fun!!

Sally Gould Was it true that they had a rabbit as king? How did they fit his crown on. When, roughly, did they have to choose surnames. When you went to Amsterdam as a child we paid ten pounds for a bag of sweets. Nothing gets cheaper there. Didnt it seem very clean over there to you?
