We started our journey in Aberdeen but didn't feel like we were on actual holiday until we arrived in The Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse in LHR terminal 3. We had been really looking forward to trying this lounge and we were not disappointed. We sampled various champagnes and cocktails and a lot of the food offerings. The whole lounge was waiter service and we sat in most of the different areas throughout our 6 hour stay to keep them on their toes, oh as well as having a massage and a facial.

Our mammoth stay came to an end and we made our way to the plane and were soon in our sleep suits for the 12 hour flight after a quick seat change as a small child could see that we weren’t happy at being across the aisle from each other. Some food, a trip to the bar and then a decent sleep before landing into Hong Kong.
